Aachariyar conducted regular poojas for the Sithalapakkam Brindhavan Miruthigai. In 48 days special poojas, Manthralaya Moola Brindhavana Miruthigai was worshiped at Brahma Muhurtham. Aachariyar kept the Miruthigai over his head and placed it with celebration and incidental music in Brindhavan. Therefore it is termed as Miruthiga Brindhavan - to enlighten the Gururaj Brindhavan, Kumbabishegam was done beautifully.
Meanwhile an Eagle from above came near the Gopura kalasam and revolved around it three times. Seeing that, all the people exclaimed ‘Narayana’, ‘Raghavendra’! The uppermost part of the Gopura Kalasam is the statue of GARUDALWAR with his NAGARAJAS which is four facet. The Gururaj Brindhavan provides all blessings and goodness and hence it is called as ‘Nala Brindhavan’.

According to Raghavendra Vijaya, his triumph in debates at Thanjavur attracted the attention of Sudhindra Tirtha, the erstwhile pontiff of Kumbakonam mutt. Though initially uncertain about the prospect of renunciation, Venkatanatha relented to Sudhindra's demands and was ordained as a monk in 1621. - Guruji Dr-ARUN-RAGHAVENDAR, Astrologer & Priest - Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Chennai
